Exploring the appropriate use of emerging technologies to make them more inclusive and valuable in the fields of education, health, and economics.

Biography

Dr. Circi is a senior researcher at the American Institutes for Research (AIR) and the Project Director of the Center for Process Data. She conducts research using a variety of computational methods, such as machine learning, data mining, and observational studies with large datasets, to address social, humanitarian, and environmental challenges. One of her main research interests is exploring the appropriate use of emerging technologies to make them more inclusive and valuable in the fields of education, health, and economics.

Apart from her academic work, Dr. Circi is also dedicated to mentoring and supporting the next generation of researchers. She regularly participates in workshops and gives talks to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration and the use of AI for social good. Dr. Circi earned her Ph.D. in Research and Evaluation Methodology from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
