Career Outcomes
The MOD program aims to prepare recent college graduates and early-career professionals with less than two years of work experience—including entry-level professionals transitioning into supervisory roles—by building the skills necessary to navigate team dynamics and drive change within their organizations. If you are an early-career professional with more than two years of work experience, the Master of Science in Learning and Organizational Change program might meet your career development needs.
MOD graduates will be prepared to immediately apply their skills in change management, organizational development, systems thinking, and evidence-based design, while also setting the stage for future career growth. Potential roles might include the following:
- Change Management Analyst: Supports change management initiatives, including developing communication plans, conducting impact analyses, and assisting with training and development programs.
- Organizational Development Specialist: Focuses on improving organizational effectiveness through strategic planning, talent management, and leadership development, often working under the guidance of senior OD professionals.
- Project Coordinator: Assists in planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring that project goals are met on time and within budget. This role often involves coordinating between different departments and stakeholders, and supporting workplace operations.
- Human Resources Associate: Supports HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and training and development, with a focus on fostering a positive organizational culture.
- Sustainability Coordinator: Works on integrating sustainability initiatives within an organization, helping to develop and implement ESG strategies.
- Training and Development Coordinator: Assists in designing and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge, supporting organizational change and development efforts.
