Dual Degree Programs
SESP offers two dual degree programs in collaboration with other Northwestern schools.
BSED/BSJ in Education and Social Policy and in Journalism
The dual degree program in education and social policy and journalism offers students the opportunity to earn a bachelor of science in education and social policy and a bachelor of science in journalism in five years, allowing students the unique opportunity to pursue two academic programs in preparation to understand and demonstrate the principles and practices of journalism and media in the context of education and social policy. Students develop their passion for media as a tool for creating change in learning environments, human relationships, organizations, and the field of social policy.

BSED/BMus or BSED/BAMus in Education and Social Policy and in Music
The dual degree program in music and education and social policy offers students the opportunity to earn a bachelor of music/bachelor of arts in music and a bachelor of science in education and social policy in five years, developing their passion for music as a tool for creating change in learning environments, human relationships, organizations, and the field of social policy.
