Liza Jager

Liza Jager is a Chicago-based partner at RHR International. She brings over 20 years of experience in organizational and people development and deep expertise in global leadership, organizational change and culture transformation. She partners closely with her clients to deliver powerful insights and customized solutions that enable strategic decisions, innovation and business impact. Liza is multilingual, has lived and worked in a number of countries, and brings a nuanced cultural and global perspective into all facets of her work.
Liza is a highly effective C-level advisor and executive coach who builds strong connections, listens deeply and challenges with care—clients appreciate her strategic, dynamic, and results-oriented approach. She is also known for her expertise in team effectiveness, which utilizes a combination of personality science, business knowledge, and data-driven insights to uncover opportunities and accelerate alignment and performance within top teams. Liza has worked with multinationals, start-ups, nonprofits, and public organizations and is experienced across several industries, including biotech, technology, energy, financial services, CPG, and manufacturing.
Throughout her career, Liza has held various internal leadership roles, where she designed and led innovative large-scale programs focused on learning and development, asset building, and community development. She has also led her own consulting practice, where she provided executive coaching and advisory services to Fortune 500 organizations. She currently teaches a master’s level course on leadership in organizations and cross-cultural leadership at Northwestern University.
Liza earned her master’s degree in learning and organizational change from Northwestern University, where she also obtained her organizational leadership coaching training. She holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from the Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, Brazil and has conducted extensive behavioral psychology research at Universidad de Deusto, Spain.
