Biography

Lisa Tallman is an executive leader, operations specialist, and enterprise social networking strategist dedicated to social good. She is the acting Director of Operations for Old St. Patrick’s Church in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood, managing its strategic initiatives, finance, facilities, and human resources.

Prior to that, Tallman worked as the Executive Director of the Community Food Navigator, a startup nonprofit expanding food sovereignty in historically underserved Chicago communities. She was also the Vice President of Data and Information Management at the Easterseals National office, where she developed a new online data collection system and reestablished communities of practice. She also spent a decade serving as the Sr. Director of Knowledge Management at the YMCA of the USA, the national resource office for YMCAs across the nation, ensuring Ys have access to knowledge, tools, and resources to strengthen their local communities.

Lisa has spent almost 20 years leading diverse strategic initiatives, including digital and technology strategy, change management, and organizational culture and engagement for both for-profit and non-profit organizations. She has a unique background that bridges both hard and soft skills, allowing her to be strategic and enterprising while diving into the details and bringing people along with her on the journey. She earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master's Degree in English with a focus on Technical Communication from Eastern Michigan University.
