Gail Berger was SESP's Outstanding Instructor in 2011.
We are deeply saddened to share that Gail Ann Berger Darlow, a former instructor at the School of Education and Social Policy, has passed away. She died peacefully, surrounded by her family.
Gail was a dedicated member of the SESP community for 15 years, teaching in the undergraduate Learning and Organizational Change program and advising master’s students on their capstone projects. She developed and taught courses in organizational behavior and team dynamics, earning a reputation as an inspiring and generous teacher.
Her impact on students was reflected in her frequent recognition on the Northwestern Associated Student Government Faculty Honor Roll and her selection as SESP Outstanding Instructor in 2011.
In recent years, Gail served as a clinical professor at the Kellogg School of Management, the McCormick School of Engineering, and the School of Communication, and as deputy director of the Kellogg Center for Executive Women, extending her influence across the University.
