Northwestern Higher Education Program Joins Kazakhstan-U.S. University Consortium
Lois Trautvetter, professor and director of the Higher Education Administration and Policy Program at Northwestern University, has partnered with Northwestern's Office of the Vice President for International Relations to represent the university in the new Kazakhstan-U.S. University Consortium Partnership Program. This international partnership of 63 institutions, based in Kazakhstan and the U.S., will showcase collaboration and mutual learning in increased understanding of university financial management systems or entrepreneurial models; best practices on university management, research and commercialization models; and increased knowledge of research methodologies and the publication process, particularly in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields.
