Biography

Dr. Dominique Duval-Diop currently serves as the Deputy Chief Data Officer for the Department of Commerce. A policy leader, data scientist, and economic geographer, she uses data to inform policy and build responsible AI. Before her current role, Dominique was the U.S. Chief Data Scientist at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, an American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) fellow, and an Associate Director at the Millennium Challenge Corporation. In these positions, she helped federal agencies use data and technology to drive impact both in the U.S. and internationally.
