TEACHx 2021 Highlights Remote Teaching Innovations
Lois Trautvetter and her MSHE team present on using a virtual platform for poster sessions.School of Education and Social Policy students, faculty, and staff will highlight innovative experiments in remote teaching and learning at Northwestern University’s annual TEACHx symposium held May 11 -13.
The virtual event features on demand sessions and live options from the Center for Talent Development, the Master's in Higher Education Administration and Policy program, the Learning Sciences doctoral program, and more. Registration is now open and the full schedule is available online. (Note: Monday May 10 sessions are pre-recorded and available on demand.)
Ohio State University’s Jasmine Roberts will deliver the keynote address, “Higher Education’s Humanity Crisis”. Roberts, an educator, speaker, writer, and communications strategist, will argue that academia needs to be humanized, framing it as a social justice issue that is particularly consequential for marginalized communities.
TEACHx is a collaboration between Northwestern Information Technology and the Office of the Provost. The annual event builds collaborations between instructors, students, learning designers and educational technology specialists in a variety of learning environments.
