The Master of Science in Technology, People, and Policy program is for those who want to address the new practical, ethical, and policy-related challenges created by the rapid development of technology. We’ll provide the cutting-edge knowledge and tools necessary to navigate these shifts while focusing on how innovations affect people, communities, and organizations.

Attend classes in person on our Evanston campus or virtually through customized video conferencing designed to accommodate working professionals.
Full-time students can complete the program in one year, including summer; part-time students typically take two years.
Credit-bearing certificates, aligned with your professional goals. Certificates can complement your degree or be pursued independently.
You’ll be able to evaluate complicated ethical issues, such as how AI algorithms are deployed to make decisions. Students will also learn to develop and implement strategies for using technology responsibly.
After gaining a unique blend of technical expertise, policy insight, and skills in organizational change, graduates can help organizations adopt new technologies in socially responsible ways.
The curriculum covers current trends in tech and education as well as national and international policy frameworks, preparing you to navigate regulatory environments in education, healthcare, commerce, and other sectors.
