Funding
Our policy is to provide full tuition and an academic year stipend for five years, contingent on satisfactory progress towards the degree. Stipend levels may vary year-to-year but will never fall below The Graduate School's (TGS) base stipend level. Support may include:
- Fellowships
- Research assistantships
- Graduate assistantships
Summer funding is available through The Graduate School, at the TGS base rate, and is contingent upon an approved proposal. In addition, as a graduate student at Northwestern, you are eligible to enroll in a health insurance plan that will receive 100 percent subsidization from The Graduate School.
