Our Students’ Stories

Northwestern University is located on the shore of beautiful Lake Michigan on two campuses – one in the heart of Chicago, the other in the vibrant city of Evanston (the first neighborhood north of Chicago). Students live in Evanston and the Chicagoland area. Our location near more than 30 other colleges and universities allows students to access a wide variety of internships and full-time jobs upon graduation.

At Northwestern, you’ll find endless opportunities to enhance your understanding of higher education from an academic, institutional, and cultural lens. And, of course, you will have some fun, too!

MSHE students bring their diverse interests, backgrounds, identities, skills, and experiences to our learning community. Meet a few of our students in the videos posted below and keep coming back to meet more students in the months ahead.
