    Sound Meditation

    Time: 1-2:30 p.m
    Location: Annenberg Hall, Room 303
Details: Preston Klik's Ocean of Devotion Gong Meditation is a gentle, often quiet, but at times powerfully intense experience. It's a 90-minute acoustic journey with periods of verbal guidance. Preston plays a 36-inch Heart Gong, as well as crystal and Himalayan bowls, Native flute, monochord, handpan, ocean and frame drums, chimes, and more to provide a dynamic auditory experience. This richly cinematic musical odyssey-meditation is as beautiful to the eye as it is to the ear, heart, body, mind, and spirit.

    Time: 11-12:30 pm
Location: Meet outside Annenberg Hall main entrance
Details: Forest Therapy, also known as forest bathing, is a practice for supporting healing and wellness—for both people and the Earth—through immersion in forests and other natural environments. Guide Sarah Abu-Absi studied environmental studies at Denison University and has recently been studying mind-body practices for nervous system regulation and healing. She is certified by the Association for Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs.

    Drum Circle

    Time: 2-3 pm
    Location: Annenberg Hall, Room 101
Details: SESP's Melanie West and Mike Horn from the TIDAL Lab will lead us in playing custom digital drums (TunePad drums) that are harmonically aligned with the soundscape — or explore light percussion instruments. No experience necessary, just your presence and curiosity. This is not a performance. It’s an invitation to resonate, regulate, and connect. Together, we’ll create calming, resonant music that research has shown to help regulate the nervous system.
